Shed Maintenance & Warranty

Proper care and upkeep of your shed will ensure it remains functional, attractive, and durable for years to come. Regular maintenance helps protect against weather, pests, and wear. Check your shed at least twice a year—spring and fall—for signs of damage, such as cracks, leaks, loose hardware, or pest infestations. Address issues promptly to prevent escalation.

Clean Exterior – Wash exterior yearly with mild soap and water.

Check Roof – Clear roof/gutters of debris; ensure good drainage.

Keep Dry – Keep the inside of your shed dry and aired out throughout year.

Seal Properly – Seal gaps to stop pests; use treatments if needed.

Inspect Hardware – Tighten hardware and lubricate moving parts on doors.

Repainting Your Shed – Repaint every 5 years or if fading/peeling starts.

Avoid Contact with Dirt – Nothing besides the treated 4×6 runners may touch the ground. Our sheds are built with 4’x6′ treated runners specifically designed for moisture, so it’s fine if the runners are sitting on the ground. But nothing else can touch the dirt, or it will lead to rot and decay.
